No. You can open a saver account on your own and invite family later. If a paid sponsor links with you, your $5.99 monthly fee is waived while they sponsor you.
You won't be charged anything until Amply Match launches on January 1, 2027. After launch, savers without a paid sponsor pay $5.99/mo. Savers with a paid sponsor pay $0.
You link your bank account securely through Plaid. We never collect or store your bank credentials on our servers. Recurring contributions are drawn by ACH on your schedule. When a sponsor is linked, their match is added automatically as you contribute, up to the monthly cap they set.
Each goal is invested automatically in a diversified mix of low-cost index ETFs, such as VTI, VXUS, BND and VCSH, weighted to the goal's time horizon. A goal five years out holds more bonds than one fifteen years out. We rebalance it for you, and there are no trading costs or commissions. Holdings may change over time.
We match 1% of your first year's savings, up to $100. It's applied automatically at year end, no extra steps for you.
